Went there today 8-29-2017 for the first time. Food was awesome...

Chicken was undercooked and pizza wasn’t even close to being good wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going again.

This restaurant has really gone downhill in recent years. The food is old and dried up, not fresh. The bread is usually so stale you could break a tooth trying to eat it! Staff is good but that doesn't change the poor food quality. The interior is old and stale and the chairs are SO uncomfortable! Its really a shame because this used to be a great little bistro to enjoy a good italian meal. I hope the chef/owner realizes that the food is not good and that is why they are losing customers!

Food is excellent and delivery is fast.

Never disappointed. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere.

All their meals are too oily. Sometimes the service is sluggish. Other than that, the food is quite good.

other then tying to call them to place an order this place is the best around with the best pricing, ive been eating here for almost 10 years! Staff is great too !

Their pizza is fantastic, thin crust and delicious sauce. This is our new go to place for pizza! Dinner Entrees are very good and portions are generous.

We have been eating at Hot Tomato for at least ten years. Great food, great portions, good price and great employees. Food is always great and always consistant. Very cozy and quiet not like other restaurants that are always loud. A must try restaurant with great food.

Went to dinner here the other night. We were a party of six. We ordered appetizers from a small foccacia to calamari. All were very good. Dinners were gnocchi, shrimp parm, Seafood Risotto, Branzino..all dinners were EXCELLENT!!! I love their red sauce. The only negative is that one of our dinner Companions ordered meatballs and they were not very good. We didn't have any room for dessert unfortunately. We will definitely be back!!

We absolutely LOVE this place!!! They are so kind and most importantly the food is beyond incredible!! They deliver to us in seaside park and just because they were a few minutes late they surprised us with a free giant Sicilian slice!!! Great service and great people .. a must if your visiting ocean county.

Fantastic menu from authentic Italian immigrants! Home baked brick oven pizza and bread. If you live in Toms River this restaurant needs to be a frequent stop. Finally a North Jersey quality restaurant in Toms River.

Amazing food !!!! Family owned and there all so welcoming and friendly. This is a must try if you love Italian. You WON'T be disappointed

Food is fabulous. Prices are good. Everything is starting to come together for them as they settle in. Wonderful family restaurant.

If you’re looking for a family owned restaurant with amazing food this is the spot. The staff is incredibly welcoming and nice. AND THE CHEESE, THEIR CHEESE IS AMAZING. I will be returning. Never a disappointing experience.

food is pretty good, one of the better pizza places in the area. however, they say they're open 7 days a week and the last 3 times i went there they were closed.

How can you be in business if your telephone doesn't work?

My girlfriend and I have been coming here since our first date just about 6 years ago. The food is the best around and is consistent. I will admit their has been good and bad employees over the years but nothing major. If you never been its worth going.

Was looking for good Italian food and I found it. Went there 2 days in row and will be the only place I go for Italian food.

Well I will recommend anyone to come here it's a great restaurant and no only has good service but the food is Fabulous! It's really good the smell makes your tastes buds druel over the food! It's great for all the family not even for the food but for the price they give you for all the family! See tou guys there!

Everything was OK not a lot of things where fresh not sure if you would want a huge party there plus it's very small

I wanted to try this place because it was new to the area. Bad choice. The food was not fresh and was tasteless. Poor presentation of dishes. Service was even worse. This restaurant needs to get its act together. Unfriendly staff and inattentive. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.
